These were the priciest homes to sell in Chicago last week

Most of last week’s five most expensive home sales were — as usual — on the North Side, with three single family homes and two condos closing for more than a combined $16 million, according to Redfin.

Topping the list of last week’s most expensive closed sales is a penthouse in Sulo Development’s Hayden development in the booming West Loop for nearly $4.5 million. The second- and third-most expensive closed sales are both six-bedroom single family homes in Lincoln Park, followed by a six-bedroom single family home in Lakeview, and then a three-bedroom condo on the Near North Side.

Price and property details were found using Redfin. All sales on this list closed between Oct. 15 and Oct. 21.

1109 W. Washington Blvd. Ph. 8C | $4.46 million | Near West Side

This four-bedroom, 4.5 bath condo in at Sulo Development’s Hayden in Fulton Market sold for more than the $4 million asking price. It went into contract in July 2017, according to Redfin. The more than 4,800-square-foot unit offers a full floor dedicated to living and entertaining, with a custom kitchen, a large dining room, a separate office and an 850-square-foot private terrace. Tim Sheahan and Mark Icuss of Compass represented the seller and Susan Miner of Premier Relocation represented the buyer. Another four bedroom, 4.5 bath penthouse on the eighth floor closed at its $4.09 million asking price the previous week. At least six closings at the Hayden occurred over the summer, with the priciest going for $2.58 million.

2330-2338 N. Cambridge Ave. | $3.82 million | Lincoln Park

This six-bedroom, 6.5 bath single family home in Lincoln Park sold well below the $4.5 million asking price. It went into contract in September, according to Redfin. Amenities include a two-bedroom, one bath apartment attached to the second floor of the three-story main house, a four-car garage, a landscaped courtyard and an 875-bottle wine cellar and tasting room. Jane Shawkey-Nye of Baird & Warner represented the seller and Kyle Harvey of Baird & Warner represented the buyer.

1120 W. Montana St. | $3.05 million | Lincoln Park

This six-bedroom, 6.5 bath single family home in Lincoln Park sold for less than the initial $3.3 million asking price. It went into contract in September, according to Redfin. The 6,500-square-foot house offers an outdoor terrace, a conservatory leading to an enclosed veranda and a rooftop deck over the three-car garage, plus a lower level featuring a recreation room, a gym, a wine cellar and a second laundry room. Natasha Motev of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller and Nancy Gaspadarek of @properties represented the buyer.

3647 N. Lakewood Ave. | $2.6 million | Lakeview

This six-bedroom, five bath and two partial bath single family home located in the Southport Corridor sold for less than the nearly $3 million asking price. It went into contract in September, according to Redfin. The 6,000-square-foot home has a patio, rooftop deck with a hot tub, a recreation room on the top floor and lower level theater room with a bar, sauna and exercise room. Jeff Lowe of Compass had the listing.

132 E. Delaware Pl. #5901 | $2.3 million | Near North Side

This three-bedroom, three bath condo previously owned by designer Michael Richman on the Near North Side sold for slightly less than the $2.38 million asking price. It went into contract in August, according to Redfin. Amenities in the 2,500-square-foot unit include heated floors and walls, windows overlooking the skyline and lake, electrical shades and an oversized shower with a rain shower head. Eugene Fu of @properties represented the seller and Katherine Malkin of Compass represented the buyer.
