Thomas White and his partner Scott Watkins bought the waterfront house for about $1.8 million at a bankruptcy auction in 2015, when Cassidy was under financial pressure, according to White.

White told the Wall Street Journal that they have been renting the house at 1600 South Ocean Drive along the Mayan River in Fort Lauderdale for as much as $1,798 per night.

The house has two master suites, an office, a gym, a heated pool and hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and a dock with an automatic boat lift. White and Watkins are marketing the property themselves. [Wall Street Journal] – Mike Seemuth
