Director buys in East Williamsburg

French filmmaker Michel Gondry has purchased a house in East Williamsburg for more than $1 million. Gondry, who directed The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, most recently resided in an East Village apartment. Gondry has done some work in Brooklyn, directing a Microsoft commercial in Brooklyn last week and Block Party in Clinton Hill.
