For anyone looking for a mansion on the shores of Lake Michigan, two options just opened up on the same block if you have $14 million to spend.

The homes, located at 505 and 595 Longwood Avenue, are both listed through a private network, the Chicago Tribune reported. The mansions are the only ones on the block listed for more than $10 million.

The 8,329-square-foot six-bedroom home at 505 Longwood Avenue is listed for $14 million. Built in 1992 and updated in 2019, the home sits on a 2.39-acre property with a private beach. There are eight full bathrooms, a wine cellar, custom bars, hardwood floors throughout, a primary suite with balcony, an exercise room and a sauna. The property also has a swimming pool outside that overlooks the lake.

Andriyous and Layla Youkhana are the builders and owners of the home, which briefly hit the market in November 2019 at $12.5 million. Jody Dickstein is the listing agent.

Farther north, the 3,830-square-foot home at 595 Longwood Avenue, is asking $13.8 million. Built in 1970 on a 1.64-acre lot, the contemporary-style home has seven bedrooms and four full bathrooms.

Owners David Kalt and his wife, Susan paid $5.95 million for the house in 2005. Gloria Matlin is the listing agent for the second home.

These homes are some of the latest luxury properties in Chicago’s North Shore to be listed at $10 million or more. Last month, a Lake Forest home that was once owned by the widow of filmmaker John Hughes went under contract after being listed for $15 million. In Winnetka, billionaire Justin Ishbia paid $16 million for a six-bedroom mansion in July while two other seven-bedroom homes sold for $12.75 million and $11.25 million later in the summer.
