Ex-Miami Dolphins player Ndamukong Suh thrown for a loss on home sale
Suh, who recently joined the Los Angeles Rams, lost more than $1 million on the sale of an 11,000-square-foot mansion in Fort Lauderdale
Former Miami Dolphins player Ndamukong Suh lost more than $1 million on the sale of his waterfront mansion in Fort Lauderdale.
Suh listed the property for sale about five weeks before the Miami Dolphins released him in March. He had a six-year contract with the Dolphins valued at $114 million.
He sold his former home at 17171 Middle River Drive in the Coral Ridge area of Fort Lauderdale for $5.85 million, well below his $7.29 million asking price.
Suh bought the residence in 2015 for $6.5 million, so his loss on the sale topped $1 million, including the real estate commission and fees.
His listing agent, Julie Jones-Bernard, declined to comment, citing a confidentiality agreement with Suh.
The new owners of the 11,000-square-foot house are Ryan and Lilliana Collison. The house has six bedrooms, a gym, wine room and rooftop terrace plus 100 feet of frontage on the South Fork Middle River.
