Miami-Dade condo sales and dollar volume rise in early March

Top 10 sales ranged from $3.6M to $15M

Miami-Dade County condo sales and dollar volume continued to rise in the first week of March.

A total of 257 condos sold last week for $201.6 million, up from 225 condos that sold for $140.5 million the previous week.

Units sold for an average price of about $784,000, up from $624,000 the prior week. Condos sold for $437 per square foot on average, an increase from $414 per square foot the previous week.

The most expensive sale was for unit T1 at 1500 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. The unit sold for $14.9 million, or $1,774 per square foot, after 1,681 days on the market. Eloy Carmenate and Mick Duchon represented both the seller and buyer.

The second most expensive sale of the week was at Faena House in Miami Beach. Unit 14B sold for $12.1 million, or $2,893 per square foot, after 823 days on the market. Oren Alexander represented the seller, while Lourdes Gutierrez represented the buyer.
