Signorelli plans 7,000-home community for Texas’ east Montgomery County

The community will span more than 3,000 acres and open its first wave of single-family homes by the end of 2023

Woodlands-based real estate developer Signorelli plans to break ground on a 7,000-home master-planned community in east Montgomery County by the third quarter.

The community will span more than 3,000 acres and will be located at the intersection of FM 2090 and Daw Collins Road near Splendora, according to the news release by the developer, and The Signorelli Co. announced the land purchase June 1, as reported by Community Impact Newspaper.

The developer plans to open the first wave of single-family homes by the end of 2023, which are expected to sell for $250,000-$700,000.

“We are thrilled to bring our newest master-planned development to the East Montgomery County area,” said Signorelli senior vice president for the land division, Mike Miller in a statement.

The community “will provide a unique lifestyle program for residents, encouraging them to get outside with nature. Additionally, we are confident the master-planned community amenities, interspersed within a mix of housing products, will attract a variety of homebuyers,” he said.

More than 1 million square feet of land will be devoted to the development of multifamily housing and office space, as well as medical, hospitality and retail development, according to the news release. Once completed, the community will also have parks, trails and recreation areas.

Signorelli was founded in 1994 and has developments across the Greater Houston area, and one of its other projects currently in development is Valley Ranch, a master-planned community located at the intersection of the Grand Parkway and Hwy. 59.

It currently builds and develops across all nine counties in the greater Houston area, and has been delivering successful master-planned and mixed-use communities for over a quarter of a century, including the award-winning Valley Ranch and Granger Pines in Montgomery County, as well as recently announced Austin Point in Fort Bend County.
